While the hotel exterior has not been changed, the interior is completely renovated. A stylish mixture of elegance, traditional architecture, and art combined with new trends and modern design makes this hostel unique not only in Serbia but worldwide as well.

Since 1957, when Metropol was originally opened, numerous statesmen, politicians, world famous artists and musicians such as Sophia Loren, Louis Armstrong, Elizabeth Taylor, and Robert de Niro were Metropol’s regular gests.

Hotel has the largest function hall in Belgrade suitable for organizing conferences and other events.
