Crowne Plaza Belgrade, the first hotel of the world famous chain in the region, welcomed it’s first guests on Monday, December 30th.

Crowne Plaza Belgrade, the first hotel of the world famous chain in the region, welcomed it’s first guests on Monday, December 30th.

The hotel has 416 rooms, 12 meeting rooms, 2 restaurants, a lobby, bars, a pastry shop and fitiness and spa centres. Delta Holding invested EUR 40 million in the renovation of the former Continental hotel, hotel director Zivorad Vasic said. The brand Crowne Plaza represents 390 hotels in 60 countries and mostly focuses on congressional tourism and business clients.

Crowne Plaza chain is part of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), lergest hotel corporation on the world. IHG operates through 4,600 hotels in 100 countries, and brands such as: InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn and others. Delta Holding and IHG signed a management agreement which guarantees that the Crowne Plaza Belgrade will fully implement the standards of this hotel chain.
