The final conference of the „Holiday4All“ project, supported by the European commission in the framework of the Calypso platform, was held today at the premises of the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia.First part of the conference consisted of a roundtable meeting with several representatives of the project from the national tourism organizations of Serbia and Montenegro, Danube Competence Center, as well as representatives of relevant civil associations and organizations, and the presentation of the E-Calypso ecalypso.eu web site held by its manager of the portal and representative of the International Organization for Social Tourism.
At the press conference that followed, attendees were addressed by: Renata Pindžo, Assistant Minister, Department of Tourism, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia, Gordana Plamenac, CEO of the NTOS, Danny Silva, manager of E-Calypso web portal and Tatjana Antic and Emil Kukalj, project managers of the Holiday4All project from the National Tourism Organization of Serbia and the National Tourism Organisation of Montenegro. Speakers presented the results af the project emphasizing the importance of institutional and regional networking and project collaboration, not only in the development of tourism and off-season programs for sensitive categories of society, but the overall development to which the project contributes.
In the past 11 months, Holiday4All project helped establish international cooperation between national tourism organizations of Serbia and Montenegro as well as the countries of the Danube region in cooperation with the Danube Competence Center, in the area of social tourism and the development of innovative models to extend the tourism season.
The project was conducted by the Tourist Organization of Serbia as the project holder, in partnership with the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro and the Danube Competence Center.
